Time Together in Church, Sunday October 20th
Most of you know what the end of October means, and I’m not talking about the political situation. Halloween energises both young people and grown-ups to dress up and visit friends and neighbours with the playful intention to frighten them.

When they visit my door, they say, “Trick or treat”, and when I say, ‘OK, how about a trick?’, all I get is a wide-eyed stare! I know, of course, they are looking for a treat and hold out their hands for whatever I might have to give.

Halloween is really about Darkness, but as Christians, we know that Jesus brought Light to the world, and so the theme for this month is Darkness and Light.

Looking at the calendar for this month I see the British Summer Time (BST) officially ends on the 27th, how appropriate! See you there
