The Bishop of Sherwood, the Rt Revd Tony Porter, has announced that he will retire in March 2020, after 14 years of service as Suffragan Bishop in this Diocese and 42 years of ordained ministry. He said, “ It has been a great privilege to serve in the Diocese and to be part of its vision for growing disciples in every parish”.
