DESCRIPTION:Ash Wednesday Service \nThere will be a service of Sung Communion at 7.30pm (with Imposition of Ashes) at the beginning of Lent. This commemorates the 40 days that Christ spent in the Wilderness as he prepared to begin his Ministry\, which\, ultimately\, led to his death on the Cross on Good Friday. In spirit we prepare ourselves to follow Him on that journey. The Ashes part of the service is not compulsory.
