DESCRIPTION:More information about our Gift Days \nDue to current government and Church of England restrictions you’ll notice that services will be very different.  One of the issues is that hymn books\, Bible’s and service sheets won’t be allowed. \nAs a result\, the PCC are looking at having two large LED screens mounted on movable stands as an obvious solution\, not only because of the current situation but also to give us more scope in the future. \nLED displays are becoming more common in churches as they offer advantages over a projection system such as: \n\nText can be read from a greater distance on a smaller screen due to the high contrast and brightness levels\nThere is no filter or lamp to change\nLess fixing to the fabric of the building\nAnd a more flexible solution\n\nIf you would like to be a part of this exciting opportunity\, we are asking church members if they would prayerfully consider contributing towards the overall cost of around £5000. \nI think this is a wonderful opportunity to develop our services and give us more flexibility as we Love God\, Share Christ\, and Serve One Another\, in line with the diocesan vision of Growing Disciples Wider\, Younger\, Deeper. \nIf you would like to donate towards this exciting project we are having two Gift Days\, Thursday August 20th and Saturday August 29th between 11am and 12pm at church\, where you can drop off any donations/pledges (large or small)\, to a team of people who will be available. Donations can also be made before or after these dates by contacting our Rector\, Jon\, for more information.  Contact details at the bottom of this page. \nThank you
